Graceful Double-Shaded Sea Blue & Royal Purple Dhakai Jamdani Saree

This is an exquisite Jamdani handwoven with 84 count pure reshom threads crafted in a rare double shaded weave. একদিকে তাকালে শাড়িটা লাগে sea blue/teal tone, আরেক দিক থেকে আবার ভেসে ওঠে deep/royal purple shade। এই magic dual shade effect আসে তানা (warp) আর বানা (weft)-এ দুই রঙের সুতো ব্যবহারের কারণে। এই shade তৈরি হয়েছে তানা (warp)-তে blue silk threads এবং বানা (weft)-তে purple threads ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে।

আলো এক দিক থেকে পড়লে নীল সুতো ঝলমল করে ওঠে, অন্যদিক থেকে পড়লে বেগুনী সুতো dominate করে। This special weaving style is often called “shot silk effect” যা Jamdani drape-এ একেবারেই অন্য রকম আকর্ষণ এনে দেয়।

The body of the saree is embellished with delicate zigzag / dash-like motifs – দেখতে ছোট ছোট পাতার মতো বা আঁকাবাঁকা strokes-এর মতো লাগে। এগুলো সারা শরীর জুড়ে evenly ছড়িয়ে আছে, woven in golden zari, copper, pink and white threads। This creates a light, airy elegance perfect for both day and evening wear.

The border carries a fine detailing of bright pink with golden accents. আর achol অংশে রয়েছে comparatively denser weaving – geometric lines and zari patterns যা পুরো শাড়িকে regal look দিয়েছে।
