Olive Green Dhakai Jamdani Saree with All Over Karchupi & Paisley Motifs

This elegant Dhakai Jamdani saree features a rich olive green base and it is handwoven with pure silk threads. The saree is beautifully enhanced with all over hand done Karchupi work, giving it a luxurious and festive appeal. The body of the saree is designed with fine vertical Jamdani lines. Along these vertical lines delicate Karchupi floral and leaf inspired motifs are placed. Across the body paisley shaped motifs are evenly placed. Each paisley motif is crafted using golden and silver zari with a small red thread at the center. The border follows straight woven lines. Along the border, subtle paisley motifs is done using Karchupi work. The achol features a bold diamond or rhombus shaped central motif heavily decorated with dense Karchupi work. The diamond design is highlighted with golden zari, silver zari and yellow thread. Surrounding the diamond motif small Karchupi work spread evenly across the achol and vertical stripe lines run through the achol. This saree showcases a perfect fusion of Jamdani weaving and intricate Karchupi handwork.
